Spent a 2 nights weekend with 2 of my favourite people in the city of Fashion and Love… Ahhh i can’t emphasize enough how beautiful Paris is, even though  January is not the best to visit at all ( -3 degrees )…More photos of day 2 and day 3 are on their way …

Looking at these pictures without knowing who took them… Who would you think was the photographer ? Probably professionals? Actually not. Iam so amazed what a great job some of the blogger at MBFW delivered. Breathtaking captures of wonderful collections. I just read an article about blogger going to Fashion Weeks being called “‘liggers with laptops’”, and i cannot agree with this opinion at all. Acting as if we were noone, insignificant.. The importance of blogs as media to deliver news is increasing every day. To the ones working in fashion industry, who of you dont like to look at a review of the work/project you were participating in ? And if you havnt gotten too shallow and arrogant even a compliment from a plain blogger, a normal person who simply likes what you do without expecting anything, will put a smile on your face. And thats what most fashion bloggers do. Transmitting news, giving comments and feedback, whether negative or positive. We are no journalists or famous fashion editors but we do our bit to this industry as well. And the opportunity to be part of this industry, or to gain a view behind the scenes, of course all of us want to emrace it. I for one find it amazing what bloggers do. Combining sense for aesthetics, photography skills and honest opinion and own taste into blog entries, what is so bad about this ? It’s not like all bloggers just hang out at Fashion Weeks to get goodie bags. Most bloggers i know actually feel honoured to be invited and to be able to write something about the shows at close range. Its not that only because we have a “blogspot.com” in our url it makes us worse people, in the end, all of us, who want to attend a fashion week share one passion. The passion for fashion. Without a doubt this Chanel’s Spring Couture 2011 Collection is to die for ! Karl Lagerfled once again worked his magic at the house of Chanel in Paris yesterday. His collection is designed to be worn in real life as well as on the catwalk. The Chanel bouclé wool suit in particular, worn by some of his models yesterday, which is never more desirable than when hand-fitted, sewn and finished to suit every curve. There is a lack of heaviness as the models walked in ballet flats. So chic….So Chanel…

My Heart Is All Over Landuhn

Same as my girl Julia, i gave up on photoshop everytime i tried to learn it . Luckily enough i have quite a large selection of friends who are brilliant at photography so we often hang out and they would take photos of me and i’d then retouch them and play with them in my own time, it is good practice ! Normally i use a software/website called Picnik, it is just simple to use 😉 I am planning to get a new DSLR camera, maybe a micro four thirds type ( olympus pen/sony Nex…etc) this time instead of the usual Nikon/Canon since they have interchangeable lenses and much much lighter to carry around. I want to experiment , i want to refresh my photography and give it a new breath…i just want a change ….

I only know two ways to edit my pictures. Its either adjusting the colour balance like in the picture set above oooor reducing saturation. Pretty pathetic i know, after years and years i spent at the computer editing pictures… thats still all i can do lol. My brother tried to teach me how to use photoshop. But never really got it somehow. I use PhotoFiltre, a free editing software you can download from the internet for free. I’ve been using it for 4 years, my photography skills improved but my editing skills didnt. I really want to learn how to use photoshop or other pro softwares though. I think i might sign up for a course or something after graduation. I did an internship at a graphic design studio two years ago and they tought me how to use.. illustrator (i cant believe i even forgot the name of that program ! ), and i was good ! Totally got it. And now… i cant even remember what the name of that software was lol. You know im a person who needs constant repetition of using or doing something im not used to (unless its so easy a monkey could handle it). And after that internship i never worked with illustrator again so… yeah. Anyway. I really suck at school right now thats why i went shopping out of frustation yesterday and bought these two new coats ! And i love them ! I love buying coats. I hate buying pants. I have a lot of coats. a lot ! And 3 pants. lol.

Btw if i look through the pictures from the runways of Berlin Fashion Week taken by bloggers… Its astonishing how awfully great those shots are. I’d never think that they are amateur photographers or simply bloggers. I will put together a composition of my favourite ones when i have some spare time.

12. Februar 2011 – BOYS NOIZE (Kongresshalle )

Its been over a year since the last time (see here & here) i saw him live! November 2009, first Boys Noize concert, first date with my now best girl Yi, lost my first Blackberry after only three hours lol… there’s a first time for everything. Unforgettable memories. When Yi and me had decided to go together, over a year ago, we barely knew each other. And we didnt know anyone who liked Boys Noize. So we went together. Boys Noize was the first connecting point. This year there are a lot of other people to join us and im very much looking forward to what Mr. Ridha is going to offer us in 2 weeks ! Mark the date bitchez, its gonna be grand !

4. April 2011 – MIYAVI (Theaterfabrik)

Miyavi, Miyavi, Miyavi….. i used to love you so much. And do i still adore you. But we are not meant to be… Hahahahahaha. I swear i had such a major crush on him when i was in eighth grade, he was my god ! I daydreamed how i was going to meet him and all that kind of stuff. And i admit, he was awsome at that time. I havnt really caught up with his music yet but i still want to see him live on stage, at least once in my life ! And i hope he will play one of his older songs ! Dear Angelina, see you there ! Again im going with Yi. I dont know anybody else here who likes Miyavi lol. Yi and me are concert mates 8 )

6. April – LYKKE LI (Muffathalle)

Im not sure whether i will see her live or not. I want to, though. Her music touches my heart. Makes me tremble and want to burst out into ebulliency. I want to cry, laugh and dance, everything at the same time. My heart aches. Memories of the past come up. And i wonder… i wonder… and think… amd think.. and get lost in my own mind. my own thoughts. Her music inspires me. I want to listen to her singing. Who would go with me ? 

I cant believe it, this post actually just took me three hours.

Silver Shades

I have a thing for big bold and funky thing and this J-LO Clutch is one of them. Got it off a shop from Milan a few years ago when i went travelling with my family but still can’t get enough of it ! This booots are my fave too cos they pretty much goes with everything i wear and ridiculously comfortable to walk in, not pricey at all ! These photos were taken quite a while back actually by one of my friend called Christine in front of a church in Northampton when i came down to visit her for a day !

I just came across this amazing online vintage shop called Time’s Up ! Check it out, it has clothes, accessories and shoes from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Selected stuff, high branded articles among them. I want all the ones on the pictures above ! This leather jacket, OHEMGEE ! Or those bags… I want but cant afford : (

Übrigens, ich weiß nicht obs manche von euch nicht realisiert haben, aber wir sind hier zwei die bloggen. Meine Freundin Nga kommt aus London und kann kein Deutsch ! BONDAGE !

When i first saw Cheryl wearing this Bondage Tights by Wolford on X-Factor, it was love at the first sight. She looks utterly incredible. So i got myself a pair as well, even though my legs are no where near skinny but i just love to wear funky tights and play it with black dresses. What do you think?
