I bought this blazer from Wephobia at the pop-up sale which the girls Daisy and Minh Anh did together with me and Floralpunk ! I absolutely love their clothes, and since I noticed that they don’t have a physical store, I had to ask them to join me right away. Their pieces are so chic and of great quality, I was sold right away. I definitely want to stock Wephobia for Floralpunk ! Did you know ? Floralpunk will be super big soon. We have big plans for it, my new business partner Madox and I. Stay tuned, it’s gonna be so cool !

My Perfect Uni Bag / What’s in my bag Part I
Eyeko mascara: I got this one from Nga : ) ! The reason I carry it around with me is that I usually leave the house in the morning, and don’t come home till late at night. I never go home to change or anything, but sometimes I want to add more emphasis to my eyes in the evening, so all I do is add more layers of mascara. Some girls have to carry around their whole make-up bag, I’m glad that all I need is mascara and eyeliner. Because I hate carrying heavy bags.
Pens & uni documents in a clear envelope: I usually only have one subject a day, so I never need to take more than one note book and different sheets of paper with me.
Ok, now you know what’s in my bag most of the time, and also what my perfect uni bag looks like : ) Part I in the title, because I will add more posts to this series. Of course I don’t want to wear the same bag all day everyday ! I’m definitely looking for more bags to add to my “perfect uni bag”-collection !
SHOP INTERIOR THAT IS NOT IKEA
I know most people are lazy, and Ikea is great, but seriously, good interior is like a good wardrobe. It consists of the most diverse items, collected throughout the years, and in the end show the personality of the owner better than anything else. So take your time with it. Let the items, the ones that you really love, like a pair of beautiful heels that you really need to have, define your home. Not Ikea. It’s not that I don’t like Ikea, but I don’t think that everything should be from Ikea. Just like with your wardrobe, you can’t go into one department store and go out with a whole wardrobe for the next couple years. Some people tend to forget that there are many other great interior brands out there, that are not too pricey either, out of convenience. Because actually Ikea has everything, from a perfect stool to really nice glasses. It’s all there on one spot, but I think you should also explore the other interior shop solutions that exist out there.
Because of my boyfriend’s new studio, which had to be furnished, I spent a whole lot of time on interior. It was basically like furnishing a mix between living room and office, and I didn’t want it to look not nice, because I will spend a lot of time there as well. We got most of the big furniture from Ikea (against my will), because yes, it was cheap, and yes, it was convenient. But as for the decoration items, I forbid my boyfriend to buy more Ikea candles and lamps. I wanted something different, a collection of different items that go well together, and not a collection of items from the same brand, that are made to fit together. That would have been too easy. So here it is, my list of interior shop solutions other than Ikea, that are affordable and still stock great products, in the German market.
1. ebay / ebay Kleinanzeigen : Ok ebay is not a shop, but still, if you are too lazy for flea markets, you might still be able to make some bargains here and find amazing products ! Give it a try !
2. Das Tropenhaus : Actually they have their focus on children furniture, but they also carry a lot of gorgeous deco articles for the perfect finish to your rooms !
3. Maison du Monde : My favourite online furniture shop from France! They have lovely products, which are really super affordable ! If you don’t want every piece of furniture in your room to be Ikea, check it out ! They only have one shop in Germany so far, but Iam sure they are going to expand further in the next few years !
4. Stilkiste : A destination for deco stuff that might go with the name “shabby chic”. Really nice if you like that kind of style.
5. H&M home / Zara home : Some of you might, and other might not know, that our favourite high street brands also have home lines ! Just like with the clothes, H&M is cheaper than Zara, but you can find something nice for your home at either one.

And keep in mind, everything for your home can be considered an investment. If you think about it, for how long have you used the same plates, forks, chairs and pillow cases ? Unless you are some weirdo who has to exchange such stuff all the time, I bet you have been using the same ones for years and years. Don’t be afraid to spend money on it, you will use it all the time, and if you invest and pick products wisely now, you will safe yourself a lot of money and time in the future.
I’d love to show you our studio, but I can’t seem to find the photos I took recently, so I will save it for another post. Until then: happy shopping !
P.S. Interior shops have sales as well ! And it happens to be sale time right now !
Floralpunk

Hey guys, by now most of you might know that I started running an online shop a while ago. I mostly sell Accessories, but am working on featuring clothes as well. And maybe cool shoes one day. I came up with this whole thing after my last trip to Vietnam while doing my internship at Elle Vietnam. I met all these girls who have regular jobs, but still could find the time to run businesses to make more money, and felt so inspired. I thought if they can do it, why can’t I ? And that’s how Floralpunk was born. Floralpunk was the title of a shooting I had with a friend at first, and I chose it to be name of my online shop, because I love how contradicting it sounds, how it is nothing, yet something. You hear the name and I don’t want you to have any other idea of Floralpunk, than what you know from me. I want it to be a creation of mine.
I try to choose my products as careful as possible, as quality is important to me. I love it to see my products on the girls that wear them, and how they make them theirs. My biggest inspiration in life still are people, especially girls. I hope I can add a clothing line one day, and am working hard towards my goal to make Floralpunk an established brand and retailer for beautiful and cool clothes and accessories of good quality.
I appreciate every kind of support, whether you are only telling your mom about it, or give me a like on Facebook. Please help me make Floralpunk grow big, and something to be proud of. If you buy something from me, add the hashtag #wearFloralpunk on Instagram. Follow the official Floralpunk account @shopfloralpunk. Like the Facebook page to stay updated, and if you love or hate something, feel free to tell me ! I also have an instagram giveaway going on by the way. If you want to win a beautiful bracelet, all you have to do is to post or regram this photo below, and add the hashtag #winfloralpunk ! You don’t even have to mention me or the shop. Iam willing to give away three of these beautiful golden bracelets, and will announce the three winners on December 15th. I invite everyone to participate in this giveaway : )
Céline Micro Luggage GIVEAWAY // Videdressing
via Pinterest |
You do know these bags, don’t you ! And you surely have been craving for it at some point in the past few seasons, havn’t you ? Guess what (yes, i know the title says it all), thanks to Videdressing you get a, maybe once in a lifetime chance, to win a Céline Micro Luggage Bag, and all you have to do is to sign-up via THIS LINK ! Videdressing is a website to shop second hand designer, fashion and luxury goods from France, but they have recently launched in Germany as well, and need to promote the website here, so how better than with a super amazing giveaway ? You can win a Céline bag with simply signing up, you don’t even have to like their Facebook, like Toughlookdonthurt Facebook, follow them on Instagram, follow us on instagram and leave a comment with why you want to win it in the comment section below, all you have to do is sign up on the website ! It has to be the German one via THIS LINK though ! But anyone worldwide can stand the chance to win, as they are willing to ship worldwide. Still need to sign up on the Germany website though. Google translator ?
So yes, sign up ! Don’t miss this chance, it’s so easy. If I could I’d sign up, because, why not ?! Btw iam not saying this because they asked me to, but because I think Videdressing really is a great place to find designer clothes and bags at incredible prices. And to find out of season items. Start browsing once, and you won’t be able to stop, because unlike other second hand designer fashion shops, their selection is humongous. They have many sellers from France already, so while you might find maybe one or two authentic second hand Balenciaga bags on ebay, you can find so many of them on Videdresing ! So you might not only want to sigm up for the giveaway, but browse around as well. My wishlist is way too long already.
Ok again, for all the ones who are to lazy to read.
1. Sign up on Videdressing via this link or via that banner below.
2. That’s it !
Easy, right ? You can enter the giveaway from whereever you are, but you have to make sure you sign up on the German website via this link! Otherwise no chance to win.
Ok, packing for London now. Tell you friends about it and good luck everyone ! (That bag is 1850€ btw.)

coat // skirt |
When I spotted this coat and high waist skirt from The Row, it was instant love. A great mix of fabrics, looking cool, yet elegant. I love that ! Do you know that feeling when you really want something, but you know you can’t have it, so you try to find a replacement to fill the whole in your heart ? In terms of love it is food to me, in terms of shopping, it is Zara. I know Zara is so evil, and bad, but boy, have you seen that Studio collection ? Because I can’t have that coat and beautiful satin-trimmed jacquard skirt, I decided to treat myself with that skirt with lace and that bucket bag from Zara instead. I will get them right after my trip to London, if they are not sold out until then.

On the long run : Maxi Wool Coat inspiration

I was thinking about what kind of outerwear to get for this winter for so long, and I think I have found my personal solution: at least knee-length and at least 70% wool ! Either way iam going to freeze, but at least I want to freeze goodlooking. And iam in love with those long coat, sneaker coordinates I have seen in Berlin quite often these days. Casual and cool. And easily made elegant and cool by exchanging the sneakers with heeled boots. With at least two layers, and maybe a windbreaker underneath, I should be fine on my way to uni and back home. For the very very very cold days I still have my fake fur coat, which isn’t easy to throw over any outfit though. As for the sneakers, I will buy wool socks and wear another pair of socks underneath the wool socks, and I will get soles as well. It must be possible to look fairly good in winter, right ? I just remembered that I have a pair of Doc Martens at home in Munich as well, which might be able to protect me from the snow at least. I have never managed to look anything but horrible during winter, and iam so going to change that ! No frizzy hair this winter, I will find a perfect winter hair solution, and will definitely not leave the house without a waterproof bag ever again. So iam also looking for a leather bag right now. A minimalistic black one, if you know any, drop me a message ! Because my cotton fabric bag is definitely not going to keep my uni stuff from not getting wet. I don’t know about Berlin, but the snow in Munich has always been pretty bad and plenty.
Here is a selection I’d totally go for ! This classic cut Jil Sander Coat is exactly what iam looking for ! I think I’d prefer a dark navy blue over a black one. Cos black is always so black. That Wang bag looks pretty waterproof to me, and since it’s a shoulder bag you don’t have to carry it, and you can put your hands in your pockets : ) The Topshop necklace, because you have to put off your scarf at some point, right ? Either when it gets too hot in the department store, or when going for dinner. A little bling never killed nobody. As for the sunglasses, I think everyone who can pull off sunglasses on a sunny winter day looks extremely cool ! I wish I could, but havn’t found my perfect fit yet. I like the pattern of this Paul Smith wool scarf. It’d make an outfit look a little less basic. Can’t do wrong with a black wool scarf either, though. These white sneakers from Eytys are leather ! So your feet won’t get wet instantly. I will probably buy them, and tell you more about how waterproof they really are sometime soon ! There is a canvas version as well, if you don’t like leather.

& other stories // Kurfürstendamm, Berlin

I received the news about the launch of this new brand under the H&M group just a couple days ago. I started researching instantly and loved what i saw. The concept of ‘& other stories’ satisfies many points which H&M lacks. Better quality and more diverse collections with love to detail at affordable prices.
There are currently seven stores worldwide, which are all located in Europe. But for the ones who dont want to miss out there is also an online shop, just click on www.stories.cọm.
Lucky me has a boyfriend in Berlin, and as i wanted to visit him anyway, i got the chance to check out the store at Kurfürstendamm. And its gorgeous. I remember how there was a three-storey H&M shop before, and in a very short period they changed the whole interior completely, and it looks beautiful. Its one of those shops now which you like to visit just for looking. It has some boutique/gallery/industrial touch to it.
As for the clothes, if i was a flat chested skinny girl iprobably would have found more things i would have wanted to buỵ. But the clothes are nice nontheless. So are the shoes with their more sophisticated designs. And the beauty section is heaven ! I wanted to buy so many things because the packaging is so cute yet minimalistic. Totally my thing. We couldnt take more pictures of the beauty section because there was a girl who forbid us to take pictures. And i really dont get why shopkeepers would forbid that. But whatever. Anyway, if you are in London, Paris, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Milan or Berlin, make sure you check out ‘& other stories’ !
introduction: Lam Boutique
face chub exposion. |
This dress was provided by a dear new friend. Her name is Lam and her shops with self-manufactured clothes are called “Lam Boutique”. She has a very strong own signature style which i love, because its very simple and yet chic. The quality of her clothes are, compared to other shops clothes, extremely satisfying and you will find a lot of very classic cuts among her designs.
If iam being honest, it is really hard for me to shop in Saigon, i dont know why. Maybe it is because iam not a 1,70m, 45kg super skinny girl or because i dont know where to shop, all i know is, i find it hard to find clothes. And no, iam not willing to pay for stuff of overprices western brands like Mango or Warehouse, because i dont really see the point. If i can buy it cheaper in Germany, why should i buy it here ?
Anyway, people yet asked me where to shop in Saigon, and iam surprised people ask me, considering i have been back for only six weeks, but i dont want to hide my pearls, so iam going to share some of my favourite shops in the next few posts including outfit pictures !
Isnt the dress just gorgeous ? The collar is so beautiful, fell in love with it at first sight ! This dress is seriously an all-occasioner, i would wear it to events or to coffee with friends, and you will find a lot of such pieces at Lam Boutique. So worth a visit, believe me !
